About Our Earth's History
Our Earth’s History is an independent, ad-free reference on world history. Every article sits on one tree: a continent, an era, and a place in time. Read one article, and the ones around it — same continent, same century, the neighbours across the sea — are one click away.
What we cover
Seven regions (Africa, West Asia, Europe, East Asia, South Asia, the Americas, Oceania) across seven eras, from the first cities to the twentieth century. We add articles where the tree is thin, not where the news is loud.
Who makes it
A small editorial team plans, researches and reviews every article. Drafts are written with AI assistance from the sources listed at the end of each piece, then checked against those sources before publication. Illustrations are AI-generated historical reconstructions and are labelled as such. See How we make it for the full process.
What we do not do
We do not run advertising, sell data, or use cookie banners. We do not publish claims we cannot trace to a source. Where historians disagree, we say so rather than picking a side.
